Trois-Rivières Parks and Green Spaces Master Plan

parks and green spaces analyzed
typologies defined
A structuring master plan, resulting from rigorous analysis and a participatory approach, to transform 330 parks and green spaces into a coherent, sustainable, and life-enhancing network.
The City of Trois-Rivières has undertaken the development of its 2025‑2035 parks and green spaces master plan covering its entire territory. Significant reflection and structuring work made it possible to identify 330 parks and green spaces and group them into 10 typologies, based on an initial database of 580 sites of various types. The mandate also included an extensive participatory process conducted with multiple stakeholders. In addition to defining a vision, orientations, and intervention axes, a multi-criteria grid and a decision-making support scheme were developed, along with various tools aimed at supporting the implementation of the master plan.
