A tailor-made urban planning redesign that asserts the identity of the area, protects its iconic landscapes, and guides its recreational and tourism development in perfect regional consistency.

Commissioned by the Municipality, the team revised the urban plan and overhauled the normative urban planning regulations (zoning, subdivision, construction, permits, and certificates) in force within the territory. This mandate was executed with a continuous commitment to accurately reflect local specificities, a principle always considered by our team in this type of intervention. The regulatory framework was thus developed taking into account the municipal desire to preserve and enhance the area’s unique characteristics, particularly in relation to the neighboring hub of Victoriaville, while ensuring the preservation of wooded areas around Mount Arthabaska and the effective supervision of recreational tourism and resort sectors. This entire overhaul was carried out in concordance and compliance with the SADR of the MRC d’Arthabaska, which underwent several amendments before and during the project, necessitating an evolving update of the documents in progress.
