Development Concept in Sainte-Luce

for sustainable water management
An eco-district where sustainability, comfort, and community life meet to shape the future of Sainte-Luce.
As part of the Saint-Pierre Street eco-district project, close collaboration with the City made it possible to envision a sustainable, inclusive, and pleasant living environment. Co-creation workshops were conducted to explore the neighborhood’s purpose, mobility, built form, and environment, with the aim of developing a shared vision.
The developed concept is based on a structure that respects the site’s characteristics, a progressive and well-integrated density, and a street network optimized for active transportation. Innovative stormwater management was also integrated, notably through the development of a landscaped bioswale combining ecological and aesthetic functions. Green spaces, a diversity of residential typologies, and carefully planned infrastructure help strengthen the neighborhood’s identity and quality of life. All design choices are guided by the desire to create an exemplary eco-district, on a human scale and in harmony with its environment.
