The workshop will be held on Friday, April 17, at 3:30 PM, and will be led by \u00c9milie Gendron-Rousseau, Director &#8211; Municipal Services, and Yves-Olivier Palardy, Director &#8211; Urban Planning. <\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>A workshop at the heart of municipal realities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The Urban Planning Advisory Committee plays a key role in analyzing projects and formulating recommendations for decision-making bodies. However, preparing and facilitating CCU meetings often presents a challenge for municipal teams: time management, quality of discussions, clarity of analyses, and consistency of recommendations. <\/p>\n\n<p>With this in mind, APUR will offer a workshop-conference at the COMBEQ annual conference, focusing on concrete and applicable practices to optimize the functioning of CCU meetings.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Concrete tools for better preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The workshop will specifically address:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Effective agenda planning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparation of files submitted to the CCU<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Structuring analyses and recommendations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The role of the municipal professional in guiding discussions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The objective is clear: to equip participants to foster structured, productive, and decision-oriented meetings.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Facilitating to improve the quality of discussions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Beyond preparation, meeting facilitation is crucial for ensuring a collaborative environment and relevant discussions.
