Purpose of the Position

In a context of transformation and expansion, APUR is creating a strategic position for a Director – Sales and Business Development to support its management teams in accelerating growth in the real estate and pre-development, landscape architecture, and urban planning sectors.

  • Reporting to management, the successful candidate will play a key role in:
  • Client development,
  • Increasing and diversifying the project portfolio,
  • Structuring business development practices,
  • Promoting the APUR brand among strategic partners and clients

Business Development and Growth

  • Define and implement development strategies aligned with the organization’s financial and strategic objectives
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities (hunting) in target sectors
  • Develop new niches and markets according to the firm’s strategic orientations
  • Conduct strategic monitoring of market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitor activities

Account Management and Client Relations

  • Maintain and develop lasting relationships with existing clients (farming)
  • Ensure rigorous client follow-up and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships (architecture, consulting engineering, environment, etc.)

Structuring and Commercial Performance

  • Improve tender analysis processes and service offer drafting (bid desk)
  • Supervise the preparation of service offers in collaboration with internal teams
  • Monitor the sales cycle and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Implement and optimize a CRM system to support development activities

Outreach and Representation

  • Develop and maintain a list of strategic events, conferences, and networking activities
  • Represent APUR and act as a brand ambassador at industry events
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (operations, finance, marketing) to ensure project success

Skills We Are Looking For

  • University degree in business administration, real estate, urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience of 5 to 10 years in business development, sales, or market development, ideally in real estate and/or urban planning
  • Strong network of contacts in the real estate and municipal sectors
  • Excellent knowledge of real estate development processes
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to build long-term partnerships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Mobilizing leadership, strategic approach, and results orientation
  • Ability to combine strategic vision with concrete execution
